Graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Ouchi completed the combined residency training in internal medicine and emergency medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. Dr. Ouchi also completed the health policy research fellowship and palliative medicine research fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, earning the Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University. Dr. Ouchi currently works in the emergency department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and also serves on the “Home Hospital” service delivering in-hospital level care at patients' homes.

Dr. Ouchi published more than 60 scientific papers, featured in the New York Times (link, link) and TIME magazine (link), and also received various awards such as the Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging (National Institutes of Health). Dr. Ouchi's co-authored books include “Emergency ACP Learning from Vital Talk: How to Deliver Bad News and How to Make a Critical Decision” (Igaku-Shoin), a best-seller on Amazon Japan in the emergency medicine/intensive care category, “How to See a Doctor in the U.S.” (Hokendohjinsha), and “Medical Care Facilities: The Battlefields of Hell” (Business-Sha), among others.

Dr. Higuchi moved to the U.S. after graduating from Nagoya City University Medical School and completing the medical training in Japan. He received the training in family medicine, and then studied geriatrics and medical education at University of Hawaii. Dr. Higuchi worked at Southern Illinois University, Department of Family and Community Medicine, to engage in examination and education for a range of patients from new-born babies and expectant mothers to the elderly. After finishing the palliative medicine fellowship including terminal care in 2017 at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, Dr. Higuchi has been an attending physician at Massachusetts General Hospital since 2018. Co-authored books include “How to See a Doctor in the U.S.” (Hokendohjinsha), and “‘Ameilog’ Book on Geriatrics” (Maruzen Publishing), among others.

Dr. Higuchi will provide medical care services to people who live in Massachusetts to ensure better health through consultations and management at Hibari Medical Boston.

Dr. Takashi Matsuki, a board-certified psychiatrist, offers online and in-person sessions to clients in Manhattan, New Jersey, Texas, and Georgia. Dr. Matsuki, who is trained in both medication management and psychotherapy, provides treatment for various psychiatric disorders. He is also an Attending Psychiatrist in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, being on staff at Mount Sinai Morningside and West Hospitals. At Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Dr. Matsuki also serves as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry. In August 2020, Dr. Matsuki and Dr. Shimada co-founded Hibari Family Medical.

As a specialist in radiology, Dr. Shimada manages a remote radiology and image interpretation service company, one of the largest unaffiliated companies. He receives more than 10,000 requests for image interpretation per month from 250 hospitals all over Japan. While offering those services, Dr. Shimada also established a large-scale medical corporation specialized in home medical care in Japan, which currently provides in-home medical care to 3,000 patients monthly. Dr. Shimada is a true pioneer of home medical care in Japan, a doctor, and an entrepreneur. In November 2014, he founded Oriental Wellcare Group, operating various medical facilities for the Japanese residents in Malaysia and other Asian countries. In September 2020, Dr. Shimada co-founded TransPacific Wellcare Group and has been engaged in management of Hibari Family Medical.
